Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons minced Embasa® chipotle chile in adobo sauce
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 3 tablespoons diced red onion
  • 1 (12-ounce) can SPAM® Classic
  • 3 slices Cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
  • 1 ( 12-ounce) package Hawaiian sweet rolls, split and lightly toasted
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 6 slices CHI-CHI'S® Green Jalapeno Wheels, cut in half

Directions

  1. In bowl, stir together tomatoes, onion, vinegar, chili in adobo sauce and honey.
  2. Slice SPAM® Classic into 6 (1/2-inch) slices. Cut each slice in half. Lightly grill or cook SPAM® until lightly browned on both sides. Top SPAM® with cheese; heat until cheese begins to melt.
  3. Place grilled SPAM® Classic on bottom half of each roll. Top each burger with guacamole, tomato-chipotle salsa and 1 piece jalapeño. Cover with roll tops.
